Uganda 2019

Uganda?? Is the country politically stable and safe to travel to? Not only friends and acquaintances asked me these questions - I also asked myself ;-) Why Uganda? We longed for Africa. We have long wanted to visit gorillas in their natural habitat. I quickly realized that this country is still in its infancy in terms of tourism, but has an incredible amount to offer and is easy and safe to travel to. The first concerns were dispelled and already 4 weeks after our booking at www.naturexodus.de we started.

Uganda is an incredibly beautiful country!

We drove with our guide Richard through open savannahs in the Kipedo National Park and met large herds of animals and lions. In Murchison Falls National Park we took a boat on the White Nile and watched elephants taking a bath. The waterfalls were incredible ... In Queen Elizabeth NP we discovered a fawn that had been killed by a phyton and met many hippos. A very special experience was the chimpanzee and gorilla trekking in the Kibale and Bwindi Forest. I will never forget to visit these similar animals in the jungle and watch them with my family.

Not only the rich fauna can be admired in Uganda, the different flora has also fascinated us. The people of Uganda are poor in goods, but we were impressed by their friendly, carefree and open manner. There is not a lot of tourism yet, but I am sure that the country will change in the next few years. We felt very comfortable there and will definitely visit this great country again.

See for yourself what we have experienced ...
